For anyone interested in martial arts and the rich history that has engendered so many different forms over the millenia, the Sun Tai Chi Chuan course provides an excellent introduction to this style. The videos are beautifully done, focusing on the seamless coordination of movement and body positioning to properly execute Tai Chi maneuvers and stances. Whether the student is new to martial arts or a practitioner of many years, this course provides invaluable insights into Tai Chi and provides an introductory foundation for further study. Highly recommended! Steve Gorey

This course clearly and thoroughly goes through all the movements of Section One. The movements are chunked into short segments because that's the best way to learn them. Learners thus do not have to "rewind" to specific times in a longer video to learn each short segment of this section. Each segment is presented in different videos, each with a different perspective (front, rear, footwork only). Therefore, all the moves are very clear to the learner. The course even includes a sitting (in a chair) version of this form. As an online teacher myself, I'm impressed with how clearly and logically the course flows from a Preview through each segment of Section One. Learners can also skip around as needed to refresh themselves on previously learned segments. This style of Tai Chi Chuan is excellent for health and relaxation for people of any age or ability, so I'm glad to finally see an online opportunity to learn it. It's also a great supplement to a live class. Juan and Sara have a lot of experience in practicing and teaching, and their strong abilities in helping others learn this form really shine in this course.
